Inspection and Testing
Palmhive’s inspection and testing procedures are a triple-lock process, regulated under its ISO 9001 Quality Assurance System.
One-to-one direct inspection by qualified knitting technicians during fabric production is followed by further checks both before and after the dyeing and finishing process.
Statistical batch testing through to 100% compliance checks are set by our in-house quality assurance team. Record keeping and traceability is maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
Our internal assessments may be supplemented by independent certification of fabric conformity via third-party, UK and European test facilities. All this can be arranged by us.
Testing is in our heritage – Palmhive’s original founders were involved in the design of the world-renowned Fryma extensometer, a global standard for measuring stretch and recovery of textiles. It is still used today.
