Spacer Fabrics are a large part of our range, with new and innovative fabrics being added on a regular basis. With thicknesses of between 2mm-20mm, these double sided fabrics are breathable, have high compression, strength and insulation properties. Due to their multifaceted nature, our Spacer Fabrics are used in a wide range of industries, including medical, military, protective wear, bedding, transport, contract furnishing, and outdoor equipment (to name a few!).

We have a large stocked range, this month, we’re highlighting some of our most popular:

SG8474 – A double sided mesh construction, this 20mm fabric, is most commonly used in upholstery and tested to the FR standard BS EN ISO 1021-1 & 2 (cigarette and match). With compression of up to 11kPa (BS EN ISO 3386-1) and a width of 205cm; it is a unique and durable fabric.

SG8482 – A double sided mesh construction, with 10mm thickness and 200cm wide, this fabric is tested for compression and OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100; which has the strictest standards for harmful substances. With compression characteristics of up to 18kPa (BS EN ISO 3386-1) and a width of 200cm, it is suitable a wide range of applications.

SG8518 – 8mm thickness and 160cms wide, this fabric is widely used in medical applications. With compression characteristics of up to 25kPa (BS EN ISO 3386-1), OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, and dimensional stability to washing (BS EN ISO 6330:1A/80/E); it is a strong but versatile fabric.
